For every ton of co2 you offset by purchasing an 'Offset Certificate', we will send you one 'Envirovision' Compact Flourescent buls.

The cost to offset is $9.00 per 2,000 pounds or one ton of co2 per year. Your offset can be billed per month or anually. For more details contact rreed@aseiar.com.

This in iteslf over the life of the bulb will equal one ton of co2 reduction.

Your return on the investment of an 'Offset Certificate' is gained by simply using the bulb we send you. If you choose, your name will be listed in a database as a participant in this project.

Uncovering the Myth's behind Terrapass

The founder of Terrapass had good intentions at the beginning but since then I'm sure the "additional exposure" has made him even more enthusiastic.

It's not so much that Terrapas has "secret backers", that they are playing off the right place at the right time syndrome. Politicians love this, Hollywood loves this, thus Al Gore is making millions and many like him on playing the Global warming bit.

All the names are there, Gore, Kerry which then goes into the big 3 Ford, GM and Chrysler, (yes the same ones begging for gov. help because they cannot handle their finances they need more of ours), and the list goes on, and they like Gore also, because of the political hot spot topic of global warming, they have found a way to extort the ignorance of people the same as the catholic church did in the 15th century. 1. TerraPass is the brainchild of Dr. Karl Ulrich at the University of Pennsylvania. Along with 41 of his students, Karl launched TerraPass in October, 2004 as a way to help everyday people reduce their climate impact. Within its first year, TerraPass registered over 2,400 members, reduced 36 million pounds of CO2, and earned countless national press and blog articles.
